Sales Representative

About the Role

Finn-Kool Machine Shop is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be the primary point of contact between our precision machining capabilities and both new and existing customers. You will actively promote our custom machining services, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by helping customers with their precision parts and component needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote our custom machining services, deliver exceptional customer support, and solve technical challenges for clients
  • Leverage strong manufacturing knowledge to confidently answer questions on CNC machining and precision parts
  • Grow and manage a robust portfolio of accounts through proactive outreach, relationship building, and repeat business
  • Create tailored presentations, generate leads, and convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Prepare accurate quotes, orders, and sales agreements while negotiating competitive pricing and terms
  • Provide timely activity reports, monitor industry trends, and track competition to drive strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Continuously improve sales strategies and processes for better results.

Requirements & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong manufacturing background - candidates must have hands-on experience or solid understanding of machine shop operations, CNC machining, tooling, or precision parts manufacturing processes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications is a strong plus.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
