Job description

EHC is currently seeking a Machine Operations Supervisoron night shift for an industrial client in Houston, TX.

As the **Machine Operations Supervisor, **you bring value to the client by directing personnel to manufacture the required products and services specified on the Work Order/ Job Traveler.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for manufacturing personnel, their training, and accurately documenting the training
  • Review work orders with personnel and ensure any issues with the work orders are communicated to upper management
  • Responsible for ensuring all maintenance issues, machine bumps, or crashes are reported to upper managementand added to MaintainX
  • Ensure accurate clocking (clocking in/out, claiming parts, accepting parts adequately, and reporting reject codessufficiently)
  • Hold staff accountable by recording corrective actions/disciplinary reports as needed and in a timely manner
  • Be involved with root cause and corrective action requests pertaining to operations
  • Be prepared and participate in production meetings
  • Require a safe work environment by enforcing all safety rules and PPE regulations
  • Work with counterparts, effectively communicating daily, to support an efficient shift change
  • Work with other departments to meet objectives within the scope of work assigned
  • Immediately report any issues occurring outside the normal operation practices described above
  • Follow, uphold, and promote the requirements of client's safety program
  • The operation of business machines and manufacturing equipment necessary to maintain continuity and stability of company operations.
  • Applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring, and test equipment work instruction(s).

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED or Trade School
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years industry experience
  • Capability Demonstration: Ability to perform job duties within 90 days of hire
