Machine Shop Forman - Direct - Bourne, MA

The ideal candidate will have strong machining expertise, be proficient in reading blueprints, and have the leadership skills necessary to guide a team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution activities of machine shop.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
  • Manage quotes, develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies and materials, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of machining experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
