3rd & 2nd Shift Machine Helper

Major Areas of Responsibilities

  • Manufacture Corrugated Cartons
  • Assist the assistant operator as needed. Accountable for machine performance as related to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.

Primary Objectives

  • Ensure all company policies are adhered to. (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality).
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

  • Assist machine operators with loading materials and monitoring production.
  • Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules, hearing and eye protection policies.
  • Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
  • It is the responsibility of all employees to follow the requirements of their documentation process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Possess effective interpersonal skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
  • Must be team oriented.

Job Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in temperature extremes inside facility for several hours continuously.
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
  • Must be able to push up to 45 lbs.
