Job description

Machine Operator
A manufacturing company in Milton, FL, is looking for a knowledgeable operator to operate a Copper Wire Screening Machine and/or an Aluminum/Copper Wire Stranding Machine. Interested in candidates looking for a long-term opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation
  • Set up the screening or stranding machine independently from the selection of tooling, set up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters, and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
  • Use of electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the screening or stranding process.
  • Good Mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy products.
  • Must maintain a consistent log of production and Quality.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Machine operator: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:
  • For this position, starting pay is $15/hour
  • 12-hour shifts (7:30 am to 7:30 pm or 7:30 pm to 7:30 am) includes overtime and weekends
  • After meeting the qualification requirements, employees are offered through Landrum: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and Matching 401k
  • Benefits offered after conversion to client payroll include Health insurance, Dental insurance, Vision Insurance, Retirement plan and Paid time off
