Machine Operator

Type: Temp-to-hire

On-site

Compensation: $20-$22 (Plus shift differentials: +$1.00/hr for 2nd shift; +$1.50/hr for overnight shifts)

Schedule: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift availability (10-hour shifts; Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed)

Position Summary:

Highly active, technical manufacturing role balancing hands-on machinery operation with rigid safety and compliance standards for an NSF-certified, cGMP dietary supplement and personal care facility. Responsible for setting up, monitoring, and adjusting assembly and blending equipment while supporting maintenance teams with equipment fixes on the production floor.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation & Control: Load raw ingredients into mixing hoppers and adjust valves to control steam or cooling fluids during the blending and densifying process. Closely monitor controls to ensure assembly lines function properly.

• Troubleshooting & Mechanical Support: Diagnose runtime machinery issues, make line adjustments when malfunctions occur, and actively assist maintenance workers with repairs.

• Quality & Measurement Inspections: Examine and measure products at every stage of processing to guarantee strict conformance to established quality standards, separating any defective items.

• Sanitization & Floor Upkeep: Maintain a spotless, orderly, and sterile production workspace to comply with rigid food production processing, hygiene, and allergen controls.

• Safety & SOP Compliance: Observe all safety protocols, safely manage caustic materials or fumes, wear appropriate protective gear (including ear and eye protection), and accurately read numbers or weight measurements.
