DescriptionDuties include to monitor process and packaging, perform process samples, and follow all Safety
and cGMP rules at the Midlothian Site. Responsible for ensuring all related SOPs and plant rules
pertaining to cGMP, safety, and personal conduct are followed. Help maintain an effective Food Safety and Quality System and support its ongoing improvement, and be committed to producing quality, safe and legal products that meet or exceed our customer's specifications and comply with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. Job Details
Role Specific Responsibilities:
  • Run production during the scheduled shift, running process samples, offloading raw material, and follow all relevant SOPs
  • Be able to cover for all Operator tasks and jobs
  • Ensure cGMP procedures are followed
  • Ensure product is produced, packaged, and stored correctly
  • Advise the Supervisor to resolve day-to-day plant issues
  • Advise the Supervisor to resolve reoccurring issues and equipment malfunctions
  • Assist in maintenance activities in the production area
  • Assist to document accurate batch document and control log sheets
  • Performs additional duties as assigned/required
Compliance:
  • Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
  • Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
  • Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
Problem Solving and Innovation:
  • Active participation in continuous improvement activities
  • Participates in problem-solving
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
