As a Luxury Warehouse - Receiver, you'll play an essential role in preparing luxury merchandise for shipment. Every order leaving our Distribution Center reflects the care, quality, and attention to detail our clients expect. This is a full-time onsite position working at our Distribution Center in Maspeth, Queens.


What You'll Do
  • Receiving involves qc'ing new inventory shipments from vendors. Labeling items, tagging products with return tags and putting them away into their respective, designated racks/ shelves.
  • Inspect products for shortages, overages, damage, or discrepancies.
  • Accurately receive inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Stage received merchandise for putaway, or other designated warehouse locations.
  • Report damaged or incorrect shipments to a lead or supervisor.
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are processed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily fulfillment goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate Moda's core Values in every aspect of your work.

What You'll Bring
  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or distribution experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in apparel, retail, or luxury goods is preferred, but not required.
  • Stand for the duration of the 8-hour shift, with the exception of lunch break, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work every day.
  • Committed to being a reliable teammate others can count on.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems, including NetSuite, is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday, with scheduled meal and rest breaks.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to sort, organize, and move merchandise throughout the Distribution Center.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance while on duty.
  • Wear closed-toe footwear appropriate for warehouse operations.
  • Follow all company safety and dress code guidelines.

Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Additional hours, including overtime, may be required during peak business periods to support operational needs.

Compensation
  • $17.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
