Job description

Help Build One of the World's Premier Private Collector Communities

LVMW is not a traditional watch dealership.

We're building a relationship-first luxury watch business where trust comes before transactions.

Our ambition is simple: to become the first call collectors make when they want to buy, sell, trade, source โ€” or simply talk watches.

We're looking for an exceptional Founding Private Client & Community Manager to work directly with our founder and help build that experience from the ground up.

This role sits at the intersection of luxury watch sales, private client relationships, community building and social media.

You don't need to be a traditional salesperson. But you do need to love people, be commercially driven, and know how to turn genuine relationships into long-term clients.

What You'll Do

  • Build genuine, long-term relationships with watch collectors in the US and internationally.
  • Manage and grow Mr. VC's Collector Circle, creating a highly engaged private community.
  • Guide clients through watch purchases, sales, trades and sourcing opportunities.
  • Develop new client relationships and proactively follow up with collectors.
  • Maintain detailed collector profiles, including preferences, wish lists and previous conversations.
  • Create engaging Instagram content, including Reels, Stories, watch showcases and educational videos.
  • Be comfortable becoming a recognizable face of the LVMW community.
  • Turn social conversations and enquiries into meaningful client relationships.
  • Coordinate with our operations team, watchmaker and international partners to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Help shape LVMW's brand, voice, community and client journey as the business grows.

What Success Looks Like

Over your first 12โ€“18 months, you'll work toward:

  • Personally generating $8Mโ€“$10M in annual booked watch sales.
  • Building and managing a Collector Circle of 500+ qualified collectors.
  • Growing LVMW's Instagram community to 10,000+ engaged followers through authentic, educational content.
  • Hosting regular virtual collector meetups and educational experiences.
  • Developing a strong base of repeat clients and referrals.
  • Becoming the trusted advisor collectors ask for by name.
  • Taking ownership of the client experience so the founder can increasingly focus on sourcing, partnerships and long-term growth.

Who We're Looking For

We're less interested in a perfect rรฉsumรฉ than finding the right personality and commercial mindset.

You'll likely thrive here if you are:

  • Naturally curious and genuinely interested in people and their stories.
  • A relationship builder rather than a transactional salesperson.
  • Commercially ambitious and motivated by meaningful sales targets.
  • Passionate about luxury, watches, collecting or high-value client experiences.
  • Confident communicating with high-net-worth clients.
  • Comfortable on camera and excited about creating content.
  • Highly organized and disciplined about following up.
  • Proactive โ€” you don't wait for leads to come to you.
  • Comfortable communicating through Instagram, WhatsApp, phone, email and in person.
  • Entrepreneurial and excited about building rather than simply stepping into an established role.
  • Flexible when collector conversations or international relationships occasionally require evening or weekend availability.

Experience in luxury watches is highly desirable, but exceptional candidates from luxury jewellery, automotive, private client services, high-end hospitality or other relationship-driven luxury environments are also encouraged to apply.
