Luxury Watch Sales Associate

JD Watches | New York, NY

Full-Time | On-Site

Base Salary: $60,000 + Commission


JD Watches is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Luxury Watch Sales Associate to join our growing sales team in New York City.


This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong understanding of the luxury watch business, including the products, clients, market, and level of service expected when selling high-value timepieces. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, driving sales, managing leads, and delivering an exceptional luxury experience from initial inquiry through purchase and beyond.


Responsiblities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new, existing, and VIP clients.
  • Drive individual sales and contribute to overall team sales goals.
  • Develop and manage a personal client book through proactive outreach, follow-up, and clienteling.
  • Work directly with collectors, high-net-worth individuals, and luxury watch enthusiasts.
  • Present and sell high-value timepieces while providing knowledgeable and personalized service.
  • Follow up with leads and existing clients to generate new and repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate client information, sales activity, and follow-up within the CRM.
  • Stay informed on luxury watch market trends, pricing, demand, and inventory movement.
  • Develop strong knowledge of watch references, trade-ins, sourcing, and secondary-market pricing.
  • Negotiate professionally while maintaining strong client relationships and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with Management, Operations, Marketing, Inventory, and E-Commerce to support the sales process.
  • Consistently deliver a polished, professional, and high-touch client experience.


Qualifications

  • Previous professional sales experience required; luxury sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional experience in the luxury watch industry is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of major luxury watch brands, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Omega, Richard Mille, and others.
  • Understanding of both the primary and secondary luxury watch markets.
  • Strong knowledge of watch references, market pricing, trade-ins, sourcing, and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell high-value products and consistently achieve sales goals.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience working with collectors, high-net-worth individuals, and repeat luxury clients.
  • CRM software(s) and clienteling experience preferred.
  • An established network or client book within the luxury watch industry is a plus.


Compensation

  • $60,000โ€“$75,000 base salary, based on experience, plus performance-based commission.
