Job Opportunity at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital

Advocate Health is seeking general anesthesiologists to serve its patients at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Lutheran General Hospital is the leading health care provider in Chicago's North and Northwest suburbs offering a Level I Trauma Center, access to national clinical trials and advanced medical technologies. As a nationally recognized hospital, patients have access to the most advanced treatment in the areas of cardiology, cancer, neurosciences, orthopedics, and women's health. The hospital is designated a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

Highlights include:

  • Excellent case mix, including OB
  • Practice at a single center – no mandatory cross coverage of other sites
  • Adult Only Practice (13+)
  • Collaborative Care Model: Approximately 40% of cases are performed under Medical Direction @ 1:3, while around 60% of cases are staffed with MDs only
  • Full time, part time, and custom-designed positions available
  • Advanced Technology in a Level I Trauma Center: State-of-the-art facilities and anesthesia equipment
  • Robust support system of partners, anesthesia techs, and dedicated anesthesia nurses
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with a physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

Training and/or Experience Required:

  • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
  • Board-eligibility or board-certification in Anesthesiology
