Panhandle Lumber, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking experienced candidates for a Yard Associate position in our Bonifay, Florida location.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide customers with great service by helping them find products, offering recommendations and loading their purchases into vehicles
  • Check materials to make sure everything is ready for quick and accurate deliveries
  • Load materials safely and make sure all items are packed correctly for transport
  • Keep the yard organized and make sure everything is easy to locate
  • Help with deliveries, drive forklifts or company vehicles and unload products
  • Keep up with training and learn about products and safety rules
  • Step in to help with customer service in different areas as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to help the team run smoothly
  • Follow safety rules, keep the work area clean and help make sure everyone stays safe
  • Assist with counting inventory to make sure stock levels are accurate
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Previous experience with construction or building materials is helpful but not required
  • Forklift experience (1+ year preferred)
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and co-workers effectively
