Job Title: Hospital Stocker

Payrate: $21.30 per hour

Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Location: Seattle, WA (First Hill)

Job Description

As a Distribution Technician, you will be responsible for distributing medical supplies to various wings and floors of the hospital. You will collaborate closely with warehouse and healthcare personnel to ensure that each floor receives the necessary supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Load carts and pick supplies for over 200 different locations in the hospital from the loading dock area.
  • Perform 'put aways' by taking inventory and placing necessary orders using a handheld device.
  • Distribute materials to assigned floors, ensuring accurate placement and inventory management.
  • Meet in the supplies room each morning to gather materials and load distribution carts.
  • Receive daily assignments for material distribution to specific floors.
  • Read SKU numbers, part numbers, and product numbers attentively when loading carts and following work orders.
  • Lift up to 50lbs as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in stocking and/or inventory.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for full shift, and walk up and down stairs and elevators frequently.
  • High attention to detail for reading SKU and product numbers.
  • Capability to work independently and self-motivate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical products or parts is beneficial, but not required.
  • Familiarity with inventory management is a plus.
