Stridepath Consulting

Job description

Who We Are:

At Stridepath Consulting, we specialize in transforming employee experiences through ServiceNow's HR platforms. As a dedicated ServiceNow partner, we combine deep platform expertise with a sharp focus on delivering real value for our clients. What sets us apart isn't just what we do, but how we do it: our team lives by the values of T.H.I.S., Team First, Humble, Innovative, and Service-Oriented. We're building a world-class service organization that leads with heart, delivers with precision, and drives meaningful change at scale. We don't just aim to lead, we are the leader in ServiceNow HR solutions.

What We're Looking For:

The Managed Services Technical Consultant is a customer-forward, delivery-focused role that serves as the key connector between client needs and platform capabilities. This isn't a background role; you'll be the primary face of Stridepath for assigned accounts, owning your deliverables and building real expertise in ServiceNow Employee Workflows (HRSD). We need someone who can combine strong technical delivery skills with business process consulting acumen to see work compound over time.

Be the One to:

Technical Delivery

  • Configure, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications within Managed Services engagements, with minimal supervision
  • Write clean, well-designed, testable code and document your work consistently
  • Lead or support story grooming, pointing, and sprint ceremonies for assigned work
  • Participate in code promotion activities and cutover planning
  • Develop implementation plans for solution components in ServiceNow update sets
  • Apply ServiceNow features including Portal, Integrations, AI Search, and others as relevant to client environments
  • Complete peer review testing and provide clear test steps for handoff

Business Process & Design

  • Lead or support discovery and design workshops, serving as the bridge between technical execution and client business needs
  • Engage clients to demonstrate how ServiceNow HRSD and Employee Workflow applications address their specific processes
  • Drive HR process definition, re-engineering, gap analysis, and solution design from both a process and technology perspective
  • Author user stories and cases that are thorough enough to support technical configuration
  • Develop and maintain design workbooks, process documentation, test scripts, use cases, and flow diagrams as needed
  • Provide options-based guidance to client stakeholders - not just recommendations, but the thinking behind them

Customer & Project Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, communicating proactively and clearly
  • Manage your own task queue and track progress using Managed Services toolsets
  • Support project health by documenting risks, actions, issues, and key decisions
  • Lead customer knowledge transfer sessions for assigned projects and deliverables
  • Guide and facilitate UAT activities as defined in the statement of work
  • Identify and raise risks related to design or configuration decisions - don't wait for someone else to flag them

Team & Practice Contribution

  • Mentor associate-level team members and share what you know
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives and tooling
  • Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint activities actively - not passively
  • Seek out integration learning opportunities and bring new platform knowledge back to the team

What you Need:

  • 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with a strong foundation in HRSD or Employee Workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to own technical deliverables independently and seek input appropriately
  • Comfortable presenting to and working directly with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Foundational understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and ITSM concepts
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication - you write documentation people actually read
  • Self-driven learner who doesn't wait to be told what to study next

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a managed services or AMS delivery model
  • Exposure to HR business processes, employee service delivery, or workforce management
  • Familiarity with process design tools like Lucid or Visio
  • Background in project coordination or light PM duties
  • Understanding of ServiceNow integrations or platform APIs

Certifications:

Expected within 90 days of start (or currently held):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow CIS-HR
  • ITIL Foundations (not required but preferred)

Target within first year:

  • ServiceNow HRSD Professional Plus Suite
  • ServiceNow HR Professional

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Health Benefits
  • 401(K) with a 4% contribution
  • Vacation and Volunteer Benefits
  • A collaborative and agile working environment
  • World-class co-workers with extensive ServiceNow experience
  • Continuous learning culture
