Job Description Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for a contract position. This candidate will be part of an collaborative team of 13 accounting professionals. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations and a large-scale company-wide project involving new accounts, reporting structures, system testing, and process development.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, accounting analysis, and contributing to organizational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform financial accounting functions and related control activities for assigned products and processes Help ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and internal accounting policies Review and validate accounting generated from multiple systems, including manual accounting entries Research and resolve reconciliation issues, imbalances, and open suspense items Participate in monthly close activities, including: Journal entry preparation and processing Account reconciliations Financial analysis and reporting support Assist with a large-scale corporate project involving: Creation of new accounts and reports Development of accounting processes Testing system changes and evaluating accounting impacts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and project goals The base range for this contract position is $27.00 - $37.00 per hour, depending on experience

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors
