Mind Restoration Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while being part of an energetic and supportive mental health team. While you will be primarily working from your home office, the role involves periodic coordination sessions with the clinic to discuss client progress and treatment approaches. We employ advanced telehealth technologies to facilitate smooth interactions with clients and ensure efficient practice management, including an electronic health record system that simplifies documentation and scheduling.

• Conduct comprehensive individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions through teletherapy methods, ensuring a serene and effective virtual environment.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans for each client, regularly assessing their progression and adjusting strategies as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic encouragement, helping clients navigate and overcome challenges related to mental health, emotional well-being, and behavioral issues.
• Engage in collaborative care with various healthcare professionals, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to client health that enriches treatment outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and best practices, and participate in routine supervisory meetings to discuss client care and enhance therapeutic strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in counseling methodologies and mental health trends through ongoing professional development opportunities and training sessions.

The LPC will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals of all ages, couples facing relationship challenges, families seeking to improve communication and family dynamics, as well as groups formed around specific emotional or behavioral issues. Our clients often deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other complex mental health conditions, necessitating a thoughtful and individualized therapeutic approach.

• A valid master's degree in counseling or a related field.
• Active licensure as a professional counselor in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing counseling services.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on active listening and empathy.
• Ability to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment that fosters client engagement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to effectively address complex client issues.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

• Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling platforms.
• Knowledge and understanding of cultural competency in therapy, particularly within the diverse demographic of McAllen, Texas.
• Specialized training or certification in areas such as trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or family therapy.

Mind Restoration Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
