This role is conducted entirely remotely through our advanced telehealth platform, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from home. • Conduct thorough intake assessments with prospective clients to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs, as well as any existing resources.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies and techniques tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Utilize talk therapy and other therapeutic modalities to address client concerns, encourage positive self-reflection, and promote healthy coping strategies.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring that interventions remain relevant and effective.
• Educate clients about their treatment options and the necessary commitments involved, including financial considerations and emotional engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and other pertinent documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Gentle Strength Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals managing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various life transitions. Your expertise will help clients in their journey toward personal empowerment and emotional well-being, facilitating growth and resilience in both individual and group settings.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Proficiency in additional local languages is preferred to better serve our diverse client base.
• Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to developing strong therapeutic relationships.

• Experience working with a wide range of mental health issues and demographics, reflecting the community you serve.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and effective remote counseling strategies to enhance client engagement and effectiveness.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
