Bright Tomorrows Child Advocacy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our telehealth team. This position is fully remote, enabling counselors to connect with clients through our telehealth platform. • Manage an active caseload of clients, developing and nurturing positive therapeutic relationships while respecting professional boundaries and ethical guidelines.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their treatment progress, discuss stability, and plan upcoming appointments with a focus on timely and appropriate discharge when suitable.
• Create, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, continually adapting strategies as needed to ensure the best outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to support ongoing care and comply with regulatory standards.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to understand client needs and tailor approaches effectively.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing various therapeutic modalities based on client preferences and needs.
• Participate in individual and peer supervision regularly to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive mental health support, ensuring integrated care for clients.
• Foster a continuous learning environment by maintaining a growth mindset, participating in training sessions, and staying current with mental health research and practices.

The LPC will work with a diverse client base comprised of individuals seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients range from children to adults, and a tailored approach is essential to address the specific needs of each demographic effectively.

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical outpatient environment post-graduation, demonstrating proficiency in client care.
• Proficient in using telehealth technologies and comfortable with digital documentation and treatment planning tools.
• Background in providing evidence-based psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Skilled in conducting intake assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Play Therapy.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote counseling.
