Job Purpose
Work within the regional sales team(s) in the execution of strategic goals requiring new construction installer accounts; Grow and leverage a base of key installer accounts that strengthen the sales process, achieve sales and marketing strategies, and budgeted revenue; Engage and interact with Field Sales, Marketing, and G&I to win Installer, Builder and Contractor Accounts through the value of our products and construction technologies in multiple market segments.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Achieve annual revenue growth target for the region(s)
  • Lead direct reports and develop talent for future career growth
  • Ensure strong, productive relationships and complete integration with Field Sales to ensure that individual performance goals are tied to regional/market sales goals
  • Participate in alignment with, and execution of, strategic sales goals for designated regions/markets through technical services to customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third party officials
  • Raise the level of overall installation quality and brand reputation by developing and delivering value-added training to new and existing customers, builders, and municipalities; ensure that all training assets provide uniform technical messages regarding the LP product portfolio
  • Ensure that local and regional product certifications are maintained and approvals for new certifications are developed as required
  • Ensure that LP siding products and associated systems meet local needs in critical markets
  • Lead the development/updating of new/current training management systems for customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third-party officials
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and outside sources to market LP products and services to channel partners, builders and contractors
  • Ensure that all training of new and existing customers on proper product use, installation and maintenance meets the LP standard
  • Lead the training effort of LP team members in order to ensure competence and confidence in the proper installation of LP siding products
  • Design, engineer and approve, in collaboration with Field Sale and Siding G&I, product applications for evolving wall assemblies popular in the market
  • Represent LP professionally in the field and provide intelligence on current and future competitive realizations.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Education
  • Education/degree in building science, basic sciences, architecture or related fields, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates capability.
  • Adequate combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE
  • 5 years of experience in construction, building science, or building products industry.
  • Experience in wood composites industry is desirable.
  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
