The Owner, Loyalty & Value Proposition is accountable for the successful implementation of the organizational strategies pertaining to Value Proposition & Loyalty and ensuring that departmental activities are aligned with the established direction. The position assists in developing and refining the value proposition across all lines of business, helps identify target member segments, and contributes to the implementation of a consistent and comprehensive loyalty strategy for the organization. This role is responsible for carrying out the strategy through effective operational tactics and ensuring its successful execution within the organization. This role is also responsible for the operations/maintenance of the existing Profit Share and rewards programs as well as any enhancements required.

What You'll be Doing: 

  • Responsible for the active ownership and execution of the Profit Share program, and the accuracy and completeness of the comprising payouts (Common Share Dividends / Investment Share Dividends / Patronage).
  • Make strategic recommendations to the evolution of the holistic loyalty strategy that addresses transactional and relationship loyalty, ensuring alignment with the Value Proposition and target member segments.
  • Coordinate the delivery of foundational member and employee-facing campaigns that support major value delivery components, particularly Profit Share & deposit-gathering programs, with Marketing, Communications, Sales Effectiveness, Operations.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancements to existing Profit Share and deposit-gathering programs, using available data to monitor, evaluate and improve program results.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams (marketing, communications, operations) to implement, continually refine and measure the alignment and use of the value proposition and target member segments in member lifecycle strategies, employing modern forms of banking product planning, customer journeys and product development processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate markets, trends, and competitive dynamics to identify and assess opportunities or enhancements to existing programs.

What you Bring: 

Experience and Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, loyalty marketing, CRM or partnership management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding and experience in customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify performance gaps and build cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern analytical tools, methodologies & presentation mediums.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading campaign portfolios or complex, multi-channel initiatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of the competitor credit union/financial institutions, retail banking products, loyalty, sponsorship/partnerships landscape in Canada.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop targeted, insight-driven growth initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in enabling frontline execution.
  • Ability to interpret performance trends, competitor activity, and financial impacts to inform strategy.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence across departments and align stakeholders around shared growth objectives.
  • Proven skill in navigating ambiguity and complexity, using sound judgment, data, and cross-functional input to clarify priorities and move initiatives forward.

Work Arrangement:

  • Remote-first with flexibility for hybrid work based on business needs.

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required for frontline engagement, team meetings, or campaign support.
