Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of low voltage systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of security, communication, and automation systems, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our clients’ environments. Duties
  • Install, test, and service low voltage systems including CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, security alarms, access control, sensors, and more.
  • Conduct system troubleshooting using remote access software and field service techniques to diagnose issues efficiently.
  • Manage cabling infrastructure, including running cables for security systems, data networks, and power supplies using hand tools and power tools.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure proper integration of low voltage systems during new builds or renovations.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and training clients on basic operation when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a service technician or installer in low voltage systems such as security, surveillance (CCTV), fire alarm, or telecommunication systems.
