Job description

We are hiring a Low Voltage Operations Manager to run the Scranton, PA branch. This is a full P&L role with direct ownership of the project management teams, field technicians, warehouse, and fleet. The operations manager already knows the Scranton-area structured cabling and low voltage market, has existing relationships with customers and distributors, and can grow the branch year over year. This is a senior branch-leadership seat, not a coordinator or assistant role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage the project management team and field technicians

  • Own branch P&L including monthly forecasting, profit targets, financial reviews, and accounts receivable support

  • Drive new business development across the local low voltage and structured cabling market

  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, general contractors, and end users

  • Partner with Pre-Construction and Solutions Design on bids, project costing, vendor agreements, etc.

  • Manage warehouse inventory, tools, and fleet vehicles

  • Run hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and annual evaluations for field and office staff

  • Approve timesheets, expense reports, and vendor invoices through internal workflow

  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all low voltage and structured cabling/technology field work

  • Support Service Delivery and Quality Control issues

  • Represent the branch in local chambers of commerce, BICSI chapters, and industry associations

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years combined experience across field, project management, and sales in structured cabling

  • Established local network of customers, manufacturers, and distributors in the structured cabling and technology market

  • Proven business development track record with the ability to win and onboard new accounts

  • P&L and branch financial responsibility

  • Expert-level knowledge of project management and quality management processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, and database tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Able to pass background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in business, construction management, or a related field

  • Existing book of business in the local structured cabling and technology market

  • Prior branch or regional operations leadership experience

  • Established relationships with national general contractors and enterprise technology buyers

Compensation and Benefits

  • $90,000 to $120,000 base salary depending on experience

  • Full benefits package

  • Branch-level autonomy with national resources behind it

Why This Role

This position offers genuine branch leadership with full P&L ownership and the backing of a well-established national organization. Operations managers receive support from national pre-construction and solutions design teams, providing the resources needed to build and grow a high-performing branch. The Scranton market presents meaningful opportunity for a candidate who brings existing relationships and a proven business development track record. For the right operations manager, this role offers long-term stability, real autonomy, and a clear path to branch growth.
