Looking for a supplemental peds locum to cover when FT peds provider is not available. Coverage needs from June 2025-October 2025 up to 20 days per month. Peds locum will be the only peds provider on call - no supporting physician or midlevel. Circumcision required with sufficient case logs from prior two years. VA license required prior to start date. Temporary privileges only an option for providers with clean NPDB. 95% of call-back will be for nursery coverage (scheduled deliveries Monday - Thursday). Number of deliveries in 2024 was 330. Very low peds volume on Med/Surg unit. Peds locum also responsible for ER call coverage. Closest NICU is 80 miles away.
