Job description

Russ Darrow Greenfield Mazda is seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Service Porter/Lot Attendant to support daily service department operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and providing a positive first impression for our service customers.

As a Service Lot Attendant, you will play an important role in assisting customers as they arrive for service, helping maintain an organized service drive, and supporting the service advisors, technicians, and overall service department.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive in the service drive
  • Escort customers to the service writing area and assist with directing them through the service check-in process
  • Offer customers available amenities and help ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable during their visit
  • Move customer vehicles safely between the service drive, technician stalls, parking areas, and pickup areas as directed
  • Retrieve vehicles from service stalls and return them to the service drive for customer pickup
  • Escort customers back to their vehicles when service is completed
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive, shop area, service advisor area, and customer waiting area
  • Complete end-of-day cleanup of the shop and service writing areas
  • Ensure printers are stocked with paper and supplies as needed
  • Monitor service department forms and supplies and restock as needed
  • Keep the customer waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with amenities such as snacks and beverages
  • Assist with keeping dealership grounds and service areas clean and presentable, including snow and debris removal as needed
  • Follow dealership safety procedures when moving, parking, and handling customer vehicles
