Lot Driver - Full Time
Growing national auto auction is seeking a full-time Lot Driver. This is an entry level position.
Position Summary for Lot Driver
The Lot Driver remains on the lot and moves vehicles from various shops/departments and drives the vehicles through the lanes on sale day. The Lot Driver does NOT transport vehicles to or from dealerships.

Responsibilities for Lot Driver
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
  • Always exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
  • Assist customers with questions and/or concerns.
  • Ensure cars are parked in proper location based on run number in windshield on sale day.
  • Start every vehicle in assigned lane prior to sale time. Lift hood on all vehicles that do not start. Roll down or crack driver's side window.
  • Ensure keys are in ignition for all vehicles in your lane on sale day.
  • Be in assigned lane prepared for sale when auction starts.
  • Keep vehicles moving throughout the lane through the sale with all doors unlocked.
  • Ensure the vehicle is as close to its' original spot as possible with windows up when parking it when exiting lane.
  • Work well independently as well as a team player.
  • Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Able to work in indoor and outdoor operational environments.
  • Need to pass pre-employment screening.
