Job description

We are seeking a Logistics Technician to join IQVIA Laboratories at Marietta, GA.

Job Summary:
The Logistics Technician supports laboratory operations by ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipment of consignments. This role maintains shipping documentation, inventory of shipping supplies, and compliance with Good Clinical Practice requirements. Schedule will be Monday - Friday from 11:30 am to 8 pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Prepare package address labels, invoices, and shipping documentation using courier systems
  • Verify and maintain shipping address databanks within QLIMS
  • Perform quality control checks on shipping documentation and records
  • Check shipments against manifests to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
  • Maintain professional standards for all photocopied and generated paperwork
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and operationally efficient
What We Are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of related experience - can be in packing, shipping, international shipping preferred
  • Basic computer skills - experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using QLIMS and courier shipping systems preferred
  • Ability to prepare and maintain shipping documentation and manifests accurately
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy

Physical Demands (Included per location/grade requirement):
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $25,800.00 - $53,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
