Job Description
This is a hybrid position requiring employees to work on-site at least three (3) days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Job Summary
The Reverse Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), Trade-In, Buyback, and Asset programs. This position serves as the primary coordinator between customers, sales teams, logistics, service organizations, refurbishment operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the successful return, movement, valuation, and disposition of customer assets.
This individual manages complex reverse logistics transactions, supports business process improvements, and delivers an exceptional customer experience throughout the return and asset recovery lifecycle. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, customer focus, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage global trade-in, buyback, return, and asset recovery transactions from initiation through final disposition.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal organizations including Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Manufacturing, Service Delivery, Order Management, Finance, and Operations.
  • Facilitate the collection, transportation, documentation, customs compliance, and receipt of returned assets.
  • Support sales teams by providing guidance on trade-in and buyback processes, return requirements, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage customer escalations and resolve complex operational issues related to returns, shipping, equipment recovery, and transaction execution.
  • Coordinate activities among Field Sales, Customer Support, Logistics Providers, Refurbishment Centers, Customer Operations Centers, and Warehousing Operations.
  • Monitor transactional performance and ensure adherence to established service level agreements and operational metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within SAP and other business systems.
  • Support development and implementation of new business processes, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives related to reverse logistics and asset lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Business Development teams to support growth opportunities and optimize trade-in and asset recovery programs.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction, cycle times, and business performance.
  • Lead or participate in regional and global projects supporting Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned and lifecycle asset management initiatives.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience may be considered.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management is a plus

Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in reverse logistics, supply chain operations, order management, customer operations, asset recovery, trade-in/buyback programs, or a related business function.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple functional organizations including Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing business requirements.
  • Experience working with global teams and customers across different regions and cultures.

Communication & Leadership
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience presenting recommendations and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, or share expertise with team members.
  • Fluent English language skills; additional languages are beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Agilent products, service operations, and commercial processes.
  • Experience supporting trade-in, buyback, asset recovery, liquidation, refurbishment, or certified pre-owned equipment programs.
  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations, import/export requirements, and global logistics processes.
  • Experience identifying cost savings, margin improvement, or process optimization opportunities

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $35.85 - $56.01/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
