Location: Grand Rapids, MI 
Shift: 1st Shift 
Pay: $20.00+ per hour Based on experience 
 
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to grow business within the pallet and packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, identifying opportunities for pallet recycling and supply solutions, and driving revenue growth throughout assigned markets.
This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to understand customer logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and transportation needs
 
What You'll Be Doing
As a Administrative Assistant, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and customer visits.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase retention and sales volume.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend pallet, recycling, and packaging solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and pricing agreements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings when applicable.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to generate new business
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
