Duties:
• Analyze, optimize, and implement material manufacturing controls and logistics equipment to improve operational efficiency and support system lifecycle cost analysis.
• Analyze packaging design impacts on supply chain performance and transportation costs to enhance material flow and reduce logistical inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce capital expenditure through data-driven logistics solutions.
• Identify and execute logistics process enhancements to maximize throughput, streamline operations, and support continuous improvement.
• Optimize warehouse footprint and reduce reliance on external storage facilities by applying advanced logistics modeling and space utilization techniques.
• Collaborate with materials supply management and supervisors to identify and execute continuous improvement projects that enhance supply chain performance.
• Direct daily operations and strategic initiatives of the logistics engineering team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
• Oversee performance management, professional development, and coaching of logistics engineering staff to build technical capabilities and foster innovation.

Position requires travel 10% of the time to supplier facilities and other BRP work sites domestically and internationally.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Systems and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Logistics Engineer Team Lead-related occupation working in the manufacturing sector.
Also requires:
1 year of experience in the following: Managing logistic projects through project managers standards.
Demonstrable experience with each of the following:
• Creating a detail plan for every part use in production with customer's requirements using PRS (Part requirement specification) and PFEP (Plan for every part) analysis.
• Utilizing SAP enterprise resource planning software to manage logistics operations, or related business functions.
• Using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Using computer-aided design (CAD) tools including AutoCAD for designing, modifying, or reviewing engineering drawings or product layouts.
• Analyzing and solving technical and operational problems for calculating warehouse sizing.
• Utilizing LEAN or flexible manufacturing methods.
