Job description

Kinect Solar is looking for a talented Logistics Project Manager to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing logistics projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a detailed and organized professional who can manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring effective communication and alignment with all stakeholders. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for project-specific needs, owning project execution, identifying risks early, resolving issues proactively, and driving successful outcomes for both Kinect Solar and its clients.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, project milestones, deliverables, and budget considerations. Execute projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, warehouse teams, carriers, and internal departments throughout each project. Provide regular status updates, set clear expectations, document decisions, and address any issues proactively.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate all project-related logistics activities, including transportation, inventory management, documentation, order flow, warehouse coordination, and carrier performance, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or complications. Escalate concerns appropriately and provide recommended solutions when project scope, timeline, cost, or service levels may be impacted.
  • Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project and provide detailed reports on project outcomes, successes, and areas for improvement. Use project data to identify trends, improve processes, and support stronger client and operational performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, communication, documentation, and handoffs between teams. Help create scalable processes that support consistent execution across logistics projects.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or project management, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • Experience managing client-facing logistics projects, including timelines, budgets, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience handling Logistics Solar Projects. Solar, renewable energy, or high-volume warehousing experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain project organization, and communicate project progress effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
