Job description

Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for an immediate opening in Port Washington, WI. This role is a key operational leader responsible for driving project success from kickoff through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements
  • Drive project kickoff processes, confirming scope, staffing, logistics, and material strategies
  • Develop and execute clear project plans that translate drawings and schedules into actionable field strategies
  • Oversee day-to-day execution across project teams, field supervision, and support functions
  • Partner with Superintendents to remove constraints, optimize sequencing, and maintain production momentum
  • Align manpower, materials, equipment, and logistics to support productivity and schedule goals
  • Monitor project financials including labor performance, cost trends, forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation or recovery strategies
  • Maintain alignment between master schedules, lookaheads, and execution milestones
  • Oversee procurement coordination, vendor engagement, and material delivery timelines
  • Support change management, including scope clarification and change order development
  • Lead coordination with clients, general contractors, and trade partners
  • Ensure quality, safety, and commissioning standards are met throughout execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication to leadership
  • Establish team structure, accountability, and performance expectations
  • Mentor and develop project managers and engineers, fostering a high-performance culture

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards
  • Proficiency with project management tools and systems
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports and contract documents
  • Experience in mission-critical or hyperscale data center projects (preferred)
