Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Road Logistics Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end cross-border freight movements between Mexico and the U.S. via the Laredo gateway. This role acts as the central point of contact between carriers, customs brokers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on time in a fast-paced logistics environment.

How you create impact
  • Coordinate cross-border shipments between Mexico and the U.S., primarily through Laredo, TX
  • Manage the full shipment lifecycle including pickup, linehaul, border transfer, and final delivery
  • Ensure proper handoff between Mexican and U.S. carriers, including live-load and drop trailer operations
  • Validate and manage required documentation (Carta Porte, commercial invoices, packing lists, BOLs)
  • Partner closely with customs brokers to support clearance and minimize border delays
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, or service disruptions
  • Schedule and manage appointments at origin, border facilities, and final destination
  • Maintain accurate shipment data in transportation systems and support KPI tracking
  • Serve as the main operational contact for customers and carriers, providing updates and solutions

This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
