Priority maintains a diversified business model providing service to both municipal solid-waste, construction & demolition customers. Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology.
Job Purpose
As a Logistics Manager based out of Clinton Township, MI, you will lead a team of drivers while coordinating daily logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality waste collection services. Acting as a liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams, you will provide real-time support, oversee route performance, and drive continuous improvements to enhance both the driver and customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise and support a team of drivers, including daily oversight, coaching, and performance management
  • Assign and adjust routes and carrier responsibilities to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Provide real-time support to drivers throughout their routes, resolving service, safety, and equipment issues
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Communicate with drivers and internal teams via phone, Microsoft Teams chat, and video
  • Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and quality teams to drive service excellence
  • Track, trace, and update the status of daily waste removal routes using internal systems
  • Monitor route performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers and provide ongoing coaching
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational enhancements
  • Monitor waste storage areas, documentation, equipment, and procedures from the Clinton Township, MI Office

The successful candidate profile includes:
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field; supervisory experience required
