Job description

About the Role:
Multi Logistics Inc is looking for a reliable and motivated Local CDL Driver to join our team as an Amazon contractor based out of South Gate, CA. This is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a consistent local route while being part of one of the most recognized delivery networks in the world. Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to complete local Amazon contracted delivery routes safely and on schedule
  • Load, unload, and verify cargo accuracy prior to departure
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding route updates or delays
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Amazon contractor guidelines
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly and handled with care throughout the delivery process
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required
  • Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
  • Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
  • Previous local delivery or freight driving experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the South Gate, CA and greater Los Angeles area a plus
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong time management skills and a dependable, professional attitude
