Position Overview:

Industrial Logistics Group is seeking a Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate handling of inbound and outbound products, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload pallets of product from trailers and containers safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect incoming trailers and pallets for damage or signs of infestation and remove any damaged product from pallets as needed.
  • Accurately log in pallet IDs and be able to locate them in the designated warehouse location.
  • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork as required.
  • Pull outbound orders from pick tickets, verifying pallet IDs with pick ticket to ensure order accuracy.
  • Prepare shipments by shrink wrapping pallets as needed, removing shrink wrap when required, and applying required shipping labels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by emptying trash and sweeping warehouse floors.
  • Perform duties in temperature-controlled environment. The pallets are located in ambient/cooler (38 degrees - F) and freezer (-10 degrees - F).Cold-weather protective gear is provided.
  • Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift Certification Preferred.


Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in ambient, cooler (38F), and freezer (-10F) environments. RefrigiWear is provided.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 lbs. of product as needed.
