Warehouse Associate Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse worker to join the AERO Logistics Savannah, GA team! This position is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are correctly processed, documented, and tracked. In addition, the Warehouse Associate will inspect the products for damage and document properly, as well as play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Handles freight in an efficient and safe manner and in accordance with established processes & procedures.

Flexibility โ€“ understands established hours of operation and assigned shifts are subject to change based on business needs.

Adheres to inventory controls in accordance with established procedures.

Receiving and signing for deliveries.

Load & Unload Trucks.

Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.

Maintaining records of orders and delivery details.

Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping all areas organized and free of clutter and debris.

Adheres to all established policies and procedures.

Completes all paperwork and reports with 100% accuracy.

Contributes to all team efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation.

Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and paperwork management skills with superb attention to detail.

Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Ability to work Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

Clean background.

Safety-conscious with the ability to work independently.

Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience operating a clamp forklift and a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.

Must be alert and able to quickly squat, twist, and bend on a continuous basis.

Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry or lift items up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Interact with customers in a professional manner.

Highschool diploma or GED, required.
