CCPC is a Christian, humanitarian community resource center that helps improve the lives of people and communities by meeting immediate and basic needs, serving as a leading networker of community resources, offering counseling and care support, and giving hope to those we serve.
Part-Time Receiving & Logistics Associate
Pay Range: $18.50 - $20 per hour
Availability: Mon thru Saturday 8 am - 6:30 pm (29 hours/week).
Campus: Park City

Primary Responsibility:
The Donation Receiving & Logistics Associate is responsible for receiving, sorting, organizing, and storing gift-in-kind donations for the Christian Center of Park City, under the direction of the Logistics Manager. Additionally, supporting the Logistics Manager and their teammates in reaching collective goals aimed to serve our community at their point of need.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide a positive experience for donors by actively greeting them, unloading donations, offering information, and issuing donation receipts.
  • Begin donation processing on the front end of the department; directing recycling, waste, and goods to their appropriate destinations.
  • Finish donation processing on the back end of the department; including making complex decisions sorting potential inventory, designating a retail destination, and delivering inventory.
  • Assist department manager with transferring and storing goods and inventory on and off-site.
  • Assist leads with set-up and take-down, general upkeep, and organization of the donation space.
  • Assist with furniture donation pick-up and delivery to retail destination.
  • Assist shift leads and the department manager in other related duties as assigned.

  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy with visitors, co-workers, vendors and other departments.

  • Willingness to contribute expertise, ability and intellect to the success of the donation team.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or carry loads regularly.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude through difficult situations.
  • Proficient communicator, actively offering information to visitors and staff.
  • Strong work ethic: both diligent and energetic in meeting the needs of the day.
  • Ability to make complex decisions quickly and repeatedly.
  • Ability to lead and direct volunteers when needed.
