About The Role

We are looking for a site-based IT Lead and WMS Administrator to support and optimise the technology systems that power our fulfilment operations, Unify. This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and associated operational technologies across our fulfilment centres in the US. To be considered you must be living and working in the Salt Lake City metro area.


You will work closely with IT, operations, and warehouse teams to support system performance, troubleshoot issues, onboard new customers, and help deliver new technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, systems thinking, and working at the intersection of technology and logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities

Systems Support & Maintenance

  • Provide day-to-day support for fulfilment centre IT systems including WMS platforms, inventory systems, and operational applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly, escalating complex problems where necessary while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain system integrity, configuration standards, and data accuracy.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure systems remain secure and up to date through software patches, firmware upgrades, and hardware improvements.

Operational Support & User Enablement

  • Act as first-line support for internal and external system users.
  • Support new customer onboarding, from system configuration and testing through to go-live readiness.
  • Deliver system demonstrations, refreshers, and documentation to improve adoption and user capability.
  • Maintain clear documentation for system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support IT and operational projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Analyse system data to identify improvements that enhance efficiency, capacity, and customer experience.
  • Help develop reporting dashboards that improve operational visibility and decision-making.

Security & Compliance

  • Follow data security protocols and support compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, or systems support roles.
  • Experience working with a warehouse management system within a fulfilment or logistics environment (ideally within a 3PL operation).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional or international teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across WMS platforms, inventory systems, and operational technologies.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify operational improvements.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
