Job description

Eaton's Bussmann Division is currently seeking a Materials Planning and Logistics Manager. This is an on-site position based at our Ellisville, MO distribution center. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:
The Materials Planning and Logistics Manager is responsible for inventory management, material handling, systems information flow, root cause analysis, shipping and logistics execution, and Inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end inventory processes across the DC, including management of ~$10M in finished goods inventory, cycle counting programs across a 2-shift operation, and maintaining physical inventory exemption.
  • Own inventory accuracy-related DC High-5 metrics through strategic projects, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in receipt, storage, picking, and material flow processes.
  • Develop and optimize the strategy for location accuracy, including monitoring, auditing, and standard work documentation for Inventory Technicians.
  • Create visibility to in-transit inventory from interunit and external supply partners; translate insights into proactive advance planning with the DC Operations team.
  • Analyze data including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day shipping, receiving, and material handling operations; evaluate operational performance to support team performance management.
  • Collaborate with the extended Bussmann Division SCM team to align DC inventory strategy with logistics, procurement, planning, and quality functions.
  • Adhere to and enforce all safety rules and procedures; report unsafe conditions to management or the EHS Manager.
  • Provide backup support to the DC Operations team.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing/distribution center environment
