Talascend is currently seeking a Logistics Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with our client in Austin, Texas.
Overview
This role involves performing administrative and clerical duties to support the logistics team, including maintaining records, correspondence, invoices, and other related documents. The position requires attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure efficient support within a primarily office-based environment.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize correspondence, memoranda, invoices, and records according to established filing systems and procedures
  • Retrieve documents, data, and correspondence in a timely manner upon request
  • Support logistics and administrative functions as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within logistics and administrative support functions
  • Ability to follow guidelines and instructions to complete tasks under direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting logistics, operations, or supply chain teams
  • Familiarity with relevant business tools or systems
