Job Summary/Purpose: The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring all activities—including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping—are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role leads and supports Team Leads and warehouse staff, monitors and maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting and regular audits, and ensures adherence to company policies and safety standards. The Logistics Supervisor tracks performance through KPIs, drives continuous improvement in operational processes, and serves as a key link between warehouse personnel and management to ensure smooth workflow, timely order fulfillment, and overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

· Lead, mentor, and manage Team Leads and warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company standards.

  • Supervise and schedule warehouse personnel, ensuring optimal staffing levels and effective resource utilization.
  • Provide ongoing training, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Oversee daily warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packaging, and shipping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor daily sales activity to align order processing with operational capacity and fulfillment goals.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory, track operations, and generate performance reports.
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs to assess performance, drive continuous improvement, and meet company objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure on-time product delivery.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliation of discrepancies, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and reporting through established control procedures.
  • Monitor skid usage and material handling to ensure efficient storage and cost-effective resource management.
  • Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Oversee equipment inspections and ensure operators complete daily inspection sheets accurately and on time.
  • Monitor employee attendance and payroll data through Paycor to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities in alignment with safety standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or supervisory roles, with a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution operations.

Competencies/Skills:

· Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, organization, time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team while maintaining a positive work environment.

Technology and Equipment:

· Proficient in ERP systems for inventory management, reporting, and operational tracking.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

· Fast-paced warehouse setting with regular lifting and movement of materials.

  • Must adhere to safety policies and wear required PPE.
