The Area Operations Manager RMC will be based in Vancouver, WA and oversee all RMC operations in the Portland, Oregon Metro area.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain relationships with the community and with our customers, including regular communication and job site visits as appropriate.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or logistics or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years RMC experience and 3 years at a managerial level.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in managing a P&L creating budget & forecast.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment

This position operates within ready mix production facilities, customer locations, and office environments. Regular travel between sites is required. The role may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, construction environments, moving equipment, noise, dust, and uneven terrain.
