Job Type:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the moving process: Ensure the smooth coordination of residential and commercial moves from start to finish, including planning, crew assignments, transportation, and delivery. Maintain oversight of all operational activities to guarantee efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and develop crews: Conduct regular training sessions on proper moving techniques, safety procedures, equipment handling, and customer service best practices. Ensure that all employees represent the company with professionalism and integrity on every job.
  • Driver training and testing: Oversee the qualification, testing, and ongoing evaluation of drivers. Ensure all drivers meet company and federal standards for safety, compliance, and performance.
  • Supervise teams and personnel: Lead and motivate teams of movers, drivers, leads, warehouse workers, and foremen. Provide clear direction, set expectations, monitor performance, and promote accountability to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Employee scheduling and dispatching: Create and maintain efficient work schedules for all field staff. Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure proper staffing, balanced workloads, and timely completion of jobs.
  • Conduct interviews and hiring: Participate in interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for mover and operations positions. Support onboarding and integration of new hires into company culture and operational processes.
  • Manage documentation and approvals: Review and approve bills of lading, job tickets, and related paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct job site visits: Visit client locations for estimates, project evaluations, and quality assurance. Ensure crews are following proper procedures and representing the company professionally in the field.
  • Oversee storage operations: Conduct regular inspections of storage facilities to ensure safety, organization, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Support performance management: Assist in administering the annual performance management process, including evaluations, goal setting, and professional development planning for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and 2 years+ proven US driving history.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams) and other office software.
