Job description

What are we looking for

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for an Operations Manager located in Lenexa, KS, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of operational activities in the warehouse. Your daily tasks include control of shipping/receiving material, organization & inventory management, ensuring that all appropriate safety regulations are being implemented, and supervising all warehouse employees & drivers.

What you will do

In this position there will be different fronts you are going to be working with:  

Logistics

  • Prepare appropriate documentation for loading and unloading trucks and containers. 
  • Organize and maintain delivery schedule daily with efficient route planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Quality and Safety Control

  • Responsible for quality control by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damage.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis
  • Lead and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met.

Administration

  • Assist with system order entry when needed, as well as customer delivery schedules.
  • Responsible for inventory management and control
  • Able to enter orders into SAP, interact with customers, load/unload products, and move products within the warehouse as needed.

Roles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.

What you need to succeed

Professional Experience
Required:

  • 3+ years of operational and people management experience in logistics.
  • 1+ inventory management experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:

  • SAP experience 
  • Forklift experience

Knowledge

  • Building materials market

Academical Background
Required:

  • High School / GED

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.

The starting salary for this position is $75,000 per year
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.

Benefits:
The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance. You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.
Paid time off:
Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company's policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
