We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of our fleet of drivers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries, and optimizing routes for maximum efficiency.
 
**Key Responsibilities: **
 
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
- Monitor the status of trucks and drivers, tracking routes and ensuring timely deliveries
- Provide real-time support to drivers, addressing any issues, changes, or emergencies that arise
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any service concerns
- Maintain records of driver assignments, routes, and other dispatch information
- Use transportation management software to plan, organize, and track loads
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely delivery
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve transportation issues and ensure operational efficiency
 
**Requirements: **
 
- Proven experience as a Truck Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong understanding of dispatching systems, route planning, and GPS navigation tools
- Ability to multitask and manage several drivers simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
