Support U.S. Military Operations in the Middle East

DAV-Force is seeking an experienced Operational Contract Support (OCS) Contract Specialist to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. This position is ideal for former DoD Contract Specialists, GS-1102 professionals, military contracting personnel, contingency contracting officers, acquisition professionals, and logistics specialists with experience supporting operational environments.

This role works directly with military staff, contracting offices, funding offices, logistics personnel, and end users to develop, manage, and track mission-critical contract requirements supporting U.S. Government operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and manage acquisition and contract requirements packages.

  • Draft and revise Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), and supporting acquisition documentation.

  • Coordinate requirements development among military end users, contracting offices, funding offices, logistics personnel, and property book managers.

  • Track contract actions from requirements development through award, performance, and closeout.

  • Prepare and submit documentation for review boards and approval processes.

  • Conduct acquisition research and provide recommendations to leadership.

  • Monitor contract status and provide updates to senior military and government stakeholders.

  • Coordinate vendor deliveries and support contract execution activities.

  • Maintain contract records and reporting requirements.

  • Support Operational Contract Support (OCS) planning and integration efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of acquisition, contracting, logistics, or operational support experience.

  • Experience supporting U.S. Government, DoD, military, or contingency contracting environments.

  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and contract administration.

  • Experience preparing or reviewing acquisition packages and supporting documentation.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Candidates with one or more of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • DAWIA Contracting Certification

  • APDP Contracting Certification

  • FAC-C Certification

  • CPCM, CFCM, or CCMA Certification

  • Former GS-1102 Contract Specialist

  • Former Contracting Officer Representative (COR)

  • CENTCOM or USCENTCOM Experience
