Job description

Responsible for directing andsupervising the smooth operation of the banquet room and team members, forparties of all sizes and types (for both a.m. and p.m. functions).ย  Assures that an ideal dining environment ismaintained.ย  Assures that the group'sneeds are met and event is successful.ย  Overseesspecial holidays, New Years Eve and Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, meals,meetings and conferences.ย  Assists withBrunch and special events as requested. Coordinates and directs all operational functions at theBavarian Inn Lodge during scheduled periods to insure proper level of serviceand quality are delivered products; directly supervises any employees anddepartments in the absence of department managers; secures all areas of theLodge.ย  Keeps all areas neat andorganized and clean.ย  Keeps equipment ingood working condition.ย  Supervises staffand assigns duties.ย  Helps other F&Boutlets as needed.ย  Fulfills the jobduties of the Manager On Duty job description.

Hours:ย  40-45 average per weekย 

Earliest Shift 5:30amย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Latest Shift 2:00 amย  *Must be willing work a shift of hours between these times, including weekends, week days, evenings and holidays.

ย BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1 year in Food andBeverage operations with basic service, beverage and food knowledge

Serve Safe Alcohol andSanitation Certifications

Serve Safe Allergy Certifiedย 

Good math skills to calculatebilling and tips

Good computer skills

Pleasing personality,well-groomed and neat appearance.

Ability to resolve serviceproblems on own initiative.

Ability to stand for longperiods of time and handle moderate lifting / setup of chairs decorations andtables.

Experienced in set up andoperation of all current A/V technology available.

Knowledge of area, localattractions, and history of town and restaurant.
