Job description

Cath Lab RN

Job Title: Cath Lab RN

Profession: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Cath Lab

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30

Experience: Minimum 2 years cath lab experience

License: RN license required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS required

Must-Have: Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and vents Weekend coverage every 5-6 weeks Call responsibility for Stroke and STEMI

Description: Upcoming orientation dates are 8/3, 8/17. EPIC experience is required. Must have a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience. Experience with Impella, balloon pumps, and vents is required. Weekend coverage is expected every 5-6 weeks. On-call duties cover Stroke and STEMI for both CCL and IR. Experience in Interventional Radiology is strongly preferred. No local candidates will be considered. Expected call is 7-8 days in a 6-week schedule, including 1 weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning. The unit includes 7 rooms, with a mix of interventional and hybrid suites. Experience with the following procedures is required: Impella and IABP placement and removal, temporary pacemaker insertion, and rotablator atherectomy. Experience in insertion and programming of AICDs is also required. This position requires a focus on diagnostic cardiac cath lab procedures and interventional catheterizations. Patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is around 35 visits. Approval is needed for rehire status related to previous work history in applicable locations. Only candidates with one DUI on record, occurring more than a year ago, will be considered. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated; please refrain from submitting candidates for whom this is a dealbreaker.
