Job Description

Arc Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide essential outpatient primary care services at our tribal partner facility. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while caring for underserved American Indian individuals and families.

Position Highlights
  • Locums Opportunity
  • Start: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: 6 months with possibility of extension
  • Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Mondayโ€“Friday
  • One consistent weekday off each week
  • Patient Population: Primary care for all ages, 0+
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 13โ€“14 patients per day
  • Appointments: 20- and 40-minute appointment slots
  • Low-volume outpatient setting
  • Competitive rates

  • Travel and housing covered
Location & Population
  • Located approximately 30 miles west of Salem, Oregon
  • Willamette Valley Hospital is approximately 25 miles away and has 60 beds
  • Salem Health is approximately 35 miles away and has 494 beds
  • Specialized care referrals may be sent to hospitals in Portland, approximately 75 miles away
Qualifications
  • Must be a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must be comfortable providing primary care to patients of all ages
  • PALS and ACLS certifications required
  • Oregon state license preferred; candidates with other active state licenses will also be considered
  • Active RN Compact License is a plus
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to Native American culture is required
