Job Description

A Silvis based client is seeking an excellent OB/GYN to provide both outpatient and delivery OB/GYN care in a multidisciplinary community health center. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care. There is a rotating call schedule, a partnership with a local FQHC for community support, 16 LDRP rooms, a Level 2 nursery, and a surgery suite. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current Illinois state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and treatment services within OB/GYN scope of practice
  • Make referrals as appropriate for best patient interest
  • Document all encounters according to organization standard
  • Hospital deliveries and call schedule 
  • Advise and assist ARNP and PA-C mid-level providers as needed in accordance with approved protocols and procedures
  • Complete all duties, responsibilities, and competencies in a manner that is appropriate to the age groups to whom care/services are being provided
  • Assist in the review of primary care protocols and patient education materials in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Associate Medical Director
